Don Hershberger
spent most of the summer observing bighorn sheep at the Montana Zoo
and
looking at
photographs of them in the wild to create the
5-1/2-foot-tall clay ram.
The finished product
weighs
150 pounds and is durable yet lightweight enough to require
a concrete
base.
